In the future, these two houses will provide the space for a modern center for documentation and cultural 
exchange in the field of photography as well as related new media.

Eventually, the Foundation plans to welcome scholars and artists for brief residencies at these properties.  

A library reflecting Yampolsky’s interest in the art of photography as well as the many years in which she
worked as a noted editor.  Yampolsky was responsible for numerous publications in the fields of education
and culture and the editions produced under her supervision were the result of much research into Mexican
life and culture.

An archive consisting of 50,000 photographic negatives that require cataloguing and digitization.
During the inventory process, work will be undertaken to identify photographs to be used 
in future museum exhibitions and publications, as well for collections.  The importance of 
this photographic archive resides not only as a historic document of a nation that has 
undergone dramatic change, but also, as a body of work with great artistic merit. Several 
works of art dedicated to Yampolsky and created by members of her artistic circle, 
by Leopoldo Méndez and Pablo O’Higgins, among others.
